ABOUT ERIK
This Oversized B-Boy has been altogether hooked on djing since a day in 1997 when he skipped class to get his first chance on the decks. He started buying records immediately after, choosing the explosive tracks that managed to showcase several aspects of his passion for music and technology. He has favored the beats and rythmns of electronic music for as long as he can remember, but not until he was fully immersed in the 90s rave scene, did he learn the general tag for this emerging genre, nu school breaks. Completely self-taught, Erik has developed a Style of mixing that is both creatively unique and technically innovative. Recently Erik has formed a collective with several other SF breaks djs of various affiliations, establishing themselves as the Bay Area Breaks Brigade to unite and promote the SF breaks scene as a whole.
